Tour the Wild West
In Dodge City we not only embrace our place in wild west history. We celebrate it. We are dedicated to keeping our pioneer spirit alive and maintaining the significance of the cowboy in American culture. Dodge City was called home by some of the most famous lawmen and feared gunfighters of the west, including Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and the Masterson brothers.
The Original Adventure
The legends of the old west come alive at the Boot Hill Museum during live reenactments of the shootouts that earned us the moniker “Wickedest Little City in the West.” The museum features more than 60,000 artifacts of western heritage and culture. During our peak season or by arrangement (Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day), you can also catch the Variety Show with singing bartenders, can-can dancers, and Miss Kitty herself.
If traveling during the offseason, contact us for assistance in planning your visit. We are happy to provide any support your group needs to have an enjoyable stay.
Musicians and live performers love to play in Dodge City. See big-name acts, breakout country
music stars, staples of classic rock, and international and Latin music sensations at the United Wireless Arena. Also, catch live sporting events, family shows, comedians, motorsports, and more.
Whether looking for a relaxing evening sipping cocktails or a night of gambling and excitement we’ve got you covered. Start the night at the Boot Hill Casino and Resort which features hundreds of slot machines, 16 table games, a full-service bar, and the Firesides restaurant.
Experience our self-guided Walking Tour through the streets of Dodge City. On your trek, you’ll uncover the Trail of Fame medallions of local luminaries, movie stars, and famous lawmen and legends of the west.
