United Wireless Arena of Dodge City, Kansas and VenuWorks is proud to announce they are bringing iconic alternative rock band Everclear, performing with Fastball to Dodge City, KS on Saturday, April 25th, 2020.

Everclear’s most recent album, “Black is The New Black” was released in 2015, and the band has been touring ever since, treating fans to both new material and the legendary hits that made them famous in the 90’s.  “By mixing it up and digging into the catalogue, it still makes it fun and relevant for us, and I think for the fans as well,” says lead vocal-guitarist Art Alexakis. “It’s still important to play the hits, but by playing our songs from the beginning, it makes it all seem more vibrant and real. Even though I recorded some of those songs 20 years ago, I’m having more fun now than I have in years.”

Formed by Alexakis in 1991 in Portland, Oregon, Everclear has enjoyed a lengthy career spanning 11 studio releases, numerous videos, thousands of shows and accolades that include a 1998 Grammy nomination. Like a true survivor, Alexakis has soldiered on through multiple lineup changes over the years: During the “classic” era, the band also included Craig Montoya on Bass and Greg Eklund on drums; the current touring lineup features longtime members Dave French (guitar) and Freddy Herrera (bass), as well as drummer Brian Nolan, who has performed with Everclear on multiple past tours.

Everclear’s sound has consistently reflected the rock, post-punk, and singer/songwriter influences of front man Alexakis, including acts like X, the Replacements, the Pixies, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty and Elvis Costello. The band found success with their first three albums on Capitol Records, “Sparkle and Fade,” “So Much for the Afterglow,” and “Songs from American Movie Vol. One: Learning How to Smile,” which were all certified platinum in sales.

Tickets will be on sale to the public Friday, December 13th through the United Wireless Arena box office, by calling (620)371-7878, online at www.unitedwirelessarena.com or through Ticketmaster.com
