Try your hand at gathering the longhorns and joining them for branding. Learn to rope and drag calves to the fire with the other cowboys or help the ground crew with the vaccinations and putting brands on the calves. This is a fun time of year with lots of camaraderie.

We provide the horses and all the equipment you will need. Lodging and three meals are also included.

Medallion Hunt Begins
The Dodge City Daily Globe presents once again the long awaited and anticipated Medallion Hunt. The hunt begins July 20th and runs until the medallion is found. Cowhand's & Corriente's Ranch Rodeo Series - July 4
Head out to Leoti, Kansas, and stay for the Cowhand's & Corriente's Ranch Rodeo Series stop on July 4, 2009. A great night to relax and watch teams of real-life cowboys compete against each other for cash and prizes! Learn what working cowboys and cowgirls do everyday in their "offices" and stay for the fireworks display immediately after the ranch rodeo. Old Fashioned Fourth of July - July 4

Let the Ruckus Begin! - July 23
The Dodge City Days Kick-off event sponsored by US Premium Beef and Rebein Bangerter PA will start the 10-day feestival off with a bang! With the combination of the Dodge City Days and Dodge City Roundup Committees, this evenings event promises to be bigger and better than ever. There will be drawings, prizes and much more to see! The 8th Annual Boot Hill Bull Fry & Bash is sponsored by Pepsi, Q-97 & Z-98, Gene's Heartland Foods and Boot Hill Museum. We are changing things around a bit, so here's the deal. One ticket price gets you in the door and you can eat all you care to eat. The menu is Calf Fries, Beef Brisket, Coleslaw, Sally's Potatoes no Onions, Baked Beans, Pepsi and Ice Tea. Come out to Oakley and celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy with us while watching real working cowboys and cowgirls compete in a Cowhand's & Corriente's Ranch Rodeo Series stop. 12 teams will compete for cash, prizes, and series points while showing off their horsemanship and cattle-handling skills. Cowhand's and Corriente's Ranch Rodeos showcases throughout western Kansas the American Cowboy and their way of life. Please join us in Oakley to help celebrate their day of National recognition and then again on the 25th in Scott City for another action-packed night of competition. This is a shorter cattle drive for those concerned about sitting in the saddle for a long period of time. You'll drive the longhorns to the south pasture, 8 miles from the ranch. You'll camp that night under the stars or in cowboy teepees. The next day you'll ride back to the ranch.
