The Order of the Eastern Star is a service organization throughout the World.
We are raising funds to purchase/train Service Dogs for those in need of comfort.
The Dodge City OES group is raffling a beautiful quilt located at Birds of a Feather Quilt Shop in Dodge City. (509 N 2nd Ave, Suite 9 – the old Eckles mall) All funds raised will be donated to the Service Dog project.
Raffle tickets are $5.00

Timed event competition with dog and handler navigating over an obstacle course. Obstacles include teeter totter, jumps, tunnels, A-frame, tables, swinging bridges & other misc.equipment.

We will be creating a craft that you can take home. These projects are a little more complex, so we suggest ages 12 and up. All materials provided

Nightingale College is the newest nursing school in Dodge City. To celebrate the start of the BSN Program enrollments, the College is hosting a Meet-and-Greet Event that is open to the public and will kick off the start of enrollments for the Spring semester. Additionally, the event will recognize and honor six local health care facilities that have partnered with the College. Julie Janke, the College’s Regional Manager, will be onsite to lead the event and be available to answer questions from the community and the media. On behalf of Nightingale College, Janke will be awarding the local health care facilities with the Certificate of Partnership.
Residents interested in learning more about becoming a nurse and Nightingale College should attend.

Join us in October as we bring back the Haunted Homestead! We will be open on Friday’s and Saturday’s starting October 11th and going through October 26th from 7pm to 11pm, as well as October 31-November 2. Ages 6 and older only, and any children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

"Hunters" ride out into our cornfield on one of two 16' eliminator series zombie hunting trailers with mounted paintball guns that shoot "GLOW IN THE DARK ZOMBIE TRANQUILIZERS" (paintballs). The zombies DO NOT SHOOT BACK, but they are hungry!
The only event like this in Kansas!

Frank Barton School of Business, the Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR), and the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation; the purpose of the conference is to provide insight into current local and national economies, addressing topics of interest to the community, region, and state. A combination of state and local experts will be on hand to provide perspectives on issues affecting business, industry, education and government.

The event is sponsored by Victory Electric and Ladies Community Outreach. From the very first event in 2007, the goal of the festival is to provide a safe environment for kids to enjoy the seasonal Halloween activities and provide a fun, creative outlet for attendees. Fall themed games are also available for youth to enjoy. Families from surrounding towns are welcomed to attend the event and children are welcome to wear costumes to the festival.
The 2019 festival is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Victory Electric, 3230 N 14th Ave. There will be 600 pumpkins available on a first come, first-served basis. There is no fee for children and the event is open to children 13 and younger. All children should be accompanied by an adult for safety purposes.
