  1. OES Service Dog raffle

    June 1, 2019 - May 31, 2020 @ Dodge City

    The Order of the Eastern Star is a service organization throughout the World. We are raising funds to purchase/train Service Dogs for those in need of comfort. The Dodge City OES group is raffling a beautiful quilt located at Birds of a Feather Quilt Shop in Dodge City. (509 N 2nd Ave, Suite 9 – the old Eckles mall) All funds raised will be donated to the Service Dog project. Raffle tickets are $5.00 Drawing will be early Spring 2020

  2. Dodge City Regional Economic Outlook Conference – by WSU Center for Economic Development and Business Research

    -NEW- Included in the price of the conference is a one-year subscription to the CEDBR forecast booklets ($100 value), which are in-depth publications and reference guides on regional and statewide economic conditions in Kansas: Kansas Economic Trends (available at event) and Kansas Economic Update (mailed in February). Business leaders are turning to the Dodge City Regional Economic Outlook Conference for a glimpse into the region’s economic future. Founded by Wichita State University’s W. Frank Barton School of Business, the Center for Economic Development and Business Research (CEDBR), and the Dodge City/Ford County Development Corporation; the purpose of the conference is to provide insight into current local and national economies, addressing topics of interest to the community, region, and state. A combination of state and local experts will be on hand to provide perspectives on issues affecting business, industry, education and government.

    Our first weekend will be this Friday and Saturday October 11th and 12th from 7pm-11pm!! It’s only $5 per person and all proceeds go to helping making a safe and fun environment for the youth of Southwest Kansas!!

    Join us in October as we bring back the Haunted Homestead! We will be open on Friday’s and Saturday’s starting October 11th and going through October 26th from 7pm to 11pm, as well as October 31-November 2.     WHAT IS ZOMBIE PAINTBALL? "Hunters" ride out into our cornfield on one of two 16' eliminator series zombie hunting trailers with mounted paintball guns that shoot "GLOW IN THE DARK ZOMBIE TRANQUILIZERS" (paintballs). The zombies DO NOT SHOOT BACK, but they are hungry! The only event like this in Kansas! THIS EVENT HAPPENS EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY THROUGH THE MONTH OF OCTOBER!!!!!
