Christmas in Old Dodge City kicks off the Christmas season in Dodge City. The event officially lights things up with the annual lighting of the mayor’s tree in downtown Dodge City. Stay to get a glimpse of Christmas decorations on Front Street in Boot Hill and a Chili-Cook-Off in Downtown. Watch as local businesses and groups compete for the best chili award. Then, stay and sample for yourself. This year's event will be held on November 30, 2009.
