OES Service Dog raffle2019-06-01T00:00:00The Order of the Eastern Star is a service organization throughout the World.
We are raising funds to purchase/train Service Dogs for those in need of comfort.
The Dodge City OES group is raffling a beautiful quilt located at Birds of a Feather Quilt Shop in Dodge City. (509 N 2nd Ave, Suite 9 – the old Eckles mall) All funds raised will be donated to the Service Dog project.
Raffle tickets are $5.00
Drawing will be early Spring 2020

Be part of the ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at 5pm, hear our own Miss Kitty from the Boot Hill Museum sing "Home on the Range" with accompanist Derek Bower at 5:30pm and then enjoy the documentary "Home on the Range" with award-winning Director and Producer Ken Spurgeon speak about his film at 6:30pm.

The parking lot facing Wyatt Earp Boulevard between Third and First Avenue fills up with area producers offering their products for sale. Some homemade baked items and arts and crafts are also available at times.

You can enjoy one of the best country-style meals in the American West. Witness exciting gunfights between the good guys and the bad guys, listen to Miss Kitty croon in the Long Branch while the Can-Can girls kick up their heels, and experience Dodge City’s history through many different historical reenactments. Interactive displays throughout the museum provide year-round entertainment and a unique learning experience.
It is recommended to make reservations for the Variety Show and Country-Style Dinner. Call 620-227-8188 to get your evening scheduled!

Hop on the Dodge City Trolley for a trip back to the 1870’s. Visit the original locations of the Longbranch Saloon, Gospel Hill, the “deadline”, Front Street and so much more. Tour Fort Dodge, follow the path of the Santa Fe Trail and learn a few colorful stories along the way. This is a great way to get your bearings with an overview of Dodge City. Then you can plot the rest of your visit by adding those locations pointed out on the tour.
Daily 1-hour narrated tours are offered Memorial weekend through Labor Day. The enclosed, air-conditioned trolley departs from the Visitor Information Center.
